Dear Participants of the 10th International Conference of Health Sciences and Management,

Our conference, which has adopted the mission of bringing the deep-rooted, controversial and pioneering issues of the field of health management to the agenda on a scientific ground, has set the motto “Valuing Humans, Securing the Future: Sustainable Health” as the main theme this year.

The main purpose of health services is to ensure the physical, mental and social well-being of individuals. In achieving this goal, it is vital to be guided by humanitarian and ethical principles.

Sustainability of health services in an efficient, effective, economical and environmental risk-reducing manner, based on humanitarian and ethical values, should be a priority for the health sector.

Making healthcare services sustainable requires the effective and efficient use of resources. At this point, the integration of digital health technologies and artificial intelligence-supported solutions into healthcare services will play a critical role. Electronic health records, tele-medicine services and remote patient monitoring systems will pave the way for both cost reduction and improved patient experience.

Reports by international organizations such as the World Health Organization and the OECD emphasize that health systems should not only focus on economic efficiency, but also on social justice. For example, the WHO's vision of Universal Health Coverage aims to ensure that all individuals have access to essential health services without financial burden.

The health sector has a significant responsibility to reduce its carbon footprint and conserve natural resources. Zero waste policies, use of renewable energy and preference for environmentally friendly medical devices will contribute to the environmental sustainability of healthcare services.

Respect for health and patient rights by healthcare professionals and institutions is critical for preventing patient abuse and improving service quality. Hospitals and healthcare institutions should provide a transparent and effective grievance mechanism to ensure that healthcare services are provided in accordance with humanitarian values. In addition, regular auditing and transparent reporting systems should be put in place to prevent cases of abuse.

Health services should be provided in a manner that is based on humanitarian and ethical values, in compliance with patient rights, and in line with the principles of environmental and economic sustainability. Health sector managers should adopt an approach that considers all stakeholders for the welfare of individuals and society, focuses on ethical values, and lead the field with innovative solutions.

For these reasons, the theme of “Valuing People, Securing the Future: Sustainable Health” will be thoroughly discussed by experts from Turkey and abroad in the panels and sessions of the 10th IHMC conference in order to create a scientific accumulation on the subject.

As it is known, the aim of IHMC conference is to prepare the ground for the international sharing of scientific knowledge, skills and experiences in the field of health management and health institutions management from local to global. At the same time, the congress also brings together scientists, especially young researchers, policy makers, practitioners and managers from different countries to ensure global knowledge sharing, to emphasize the importance of health management and to contribute to the global professionalization process of health management.

Our conference will be hosted by Sivas Cumhuriyet University between 21-24 May 2025. We will also have the opportunity to experience these uniquenesses of our city, which is a city of history and culture.

Our conference is to offer physical and digital participation opportunities. We are waiting for your works that establish a relationship between health sciences and management and the main theme of our conference.

Your participation in our conference will honor us. We wish you well...
